Alistair is the Chief Executive of the Lifesigns Group. Having served in HM Forces for 10 years, Alistair worked as a freelance expedition leader and risk mitigation manager. Alistair has travelled extensively in Africa, South and Central America and South East Asia. He has led over 40 overseas expeditions and is a qualified Mountain Leader and Trauma Medic. Alistair is also a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and regularly lecturers at the Liverpool School for Tropical Medicine and Wilderness Medical Society.
Stu has been involved with School expeditions since 2004; he has extensive experience of both leading overseas expeditions and facilitating training for Leaders and participants to ensure they are adequately prepared. Stu is the Global Operations Director for World Challenge, a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society and an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning. As Vice Chair Stu is keen to work with EPA members to continually develop and promote good practice within the school’s expedition sector.
Alex has been involved in oversees research projects since 2004 when he volunteered to work in a baking hot office in dusty Honduran town at the foot of the Cusuco mountains in the name of conservation. He has an MSc with distinction in Psychology, has been managing and leading expeditions all over the world for 8 years, and speaks bad South American Spanish with heavy English overtones. Alex is the Operations Director at Operation Wallacea.
